About Jen Walker

I have always been fascinated by health. What creates illness and injury, and what leads us to health and vitality.

There’s nothing I enjoy more than helping others to thrive in themselves, achieve their personal goals, and help them be the best they can be.

In the late 80's I looked into working with the mind, then nutrition, but then I worked with my hands and I realised I had a natural ability to read the body through touch. As a result I chose focus on developing my understanding and skills in physical therapies, and have been really fortunate to have trained extensively and directly with people at the top of their fields.

A great fan of sport, I have been actively engaged in many competitive and recreational sports over my life. The knowledge of training protocols, sports physiology, and sporting experience has always played a large role in my professional practice.

Beyond professional qualifications I have studied and practiced for over three decades with world renowned masters on understanding the mind, awareness development and physical yoga.

Over the past 20 years I have had the privilege to develop my work with animals. Addressing varied soft tissue, musculoskeletal and neural pain and conditions, as well as some behavioural problems due to discomfort and stress.

Focusing in the last ten years maintaining well being and performance ability in Polo Horses and Sporting Whippets.

Alongside this I have written the training guide for a national Whippet running organisation, bred and trained my own champion sporting Whippets, and treat many other sporting Whippets and show dogs.
