Jen Walker
An active sports woman that loves the freedom of movement and agility Jen says she feels amazingly fortunate to spend her working life helping others get back on track so they can get the best out of, and enjoy their lives more fully.
Combined with a life long fascination with healing, human potential, and the nature of health Jen has spent years studying and qualifying in many bodywork approaches. First training professionally in Complementary Medicine in 1993, Jen now practices 4 main Complementary Therapies: Bowen technique; Neurostructural Integration Technique; Acupressure, Cupping Moxibustion and Shiatsu Massage; Emmett technique.
Jen says she feels very fortunate to have had the added benefit of training directly with many people at the top of their fields, including: Bowtech's (Australian Bowen Association) founder Ozzie Rentsch, Julian Baker, now Director of the European College of Bowen Studies, and Michael Nixon-Livy director of originator of Neurostructural Integration Technique (European form of Bowen Technique), and Ross Emmett, originator of the Emmett Technique.
Jen has worked as a fulltime professional practitioner from natural health clinics around Gloucestershire since 1994, managing 20 practitioners at a local clinic for 8 years, and has now established her own clinic, The Home Clinic, in Kingsway,Gloucester.
Fascinated with all medicine Jen believes in a balanced and wholistic approach to health, welcoming the integration of complementary medicine with orthodox medical approaches to bring maximum benefit to her clients.
